melonDS

This is a review of an unofficial port of melonDS, a free and customizable emulator. It offers several notable features:

• Light and dark themes.
• Customizable controller layouts and backgrounds to optimize your gaming experience.
• Fast-forward support, allowing you to quickly skip cutscenes and tedious parts.
• Save state support, enabling you to save your progress at any point and resume instantly.
• Action Replay support, allowing you to import codes for assistance or unlocking special features (no codes are included).
• Gamepad support, enabling you to control the game using wired or Bluetooth controllers.

Notes:

• No ROM files are provided. You must extract the ROM files from your own cartridges or systems.
• In order to emulate certain systems, custom BIOS and firmware files extracted from a real system may be required.
